Sports (circle body)It's important to remember to warm up and stretch properly before and after training; this can greatly reduce the likelihood of injuries or sore muscles etc. Good nutrition and adequate rest are also cornerstones of any good training schedule.


Arnica:

-         Number one remedy for bruising, swelling and injuries to muscles and soft tissues.

-         Sprains, strains and aching from over-exertion.

-         Restlessness, cannot get comfortable on account of sore muscles.

Hypericum:

-         Nerve pain

-         Injuries to parts rich in nerves e.g. fingers, lips/teeth, spine, coccyx.

-         Nerve pain after falling on the tailbone.

Symphytum:

-         Heals broken bones rapidly. Make sure the break is properly set first before giving this remedy; it is so effective that breaks which are still misaligned will fuse that way if symphytum is given. Give once daily for a week.

-         Injuries to periosteum.

Ruta grav:

-         Injuries to tendons and ligaments.

-         OOS/RSI.

-         Tendonitis.

Rhus tox:

-         Aching joints and stiffness.

-         Lower back pain.

-         Worse when resting, better with movement.

-         Worse when cold and wet, better with heat.


These remedies can be given up to three times daily or more depending on the severity of the symptoms. As soon as there is a noticeable change in the symptoms, stop taking the remedy. A homeopathic remedy is a stimulus for the healing response, and once it has started to act no more needs to be taken. If the symptoms appear again, the remedy can be resumed.
