What is it?

5HTP is a naturally-occurring amino acid and a precursor to serotonin production in the brain.


Food sources.

As a supplement 5HTp is usually sourced from the seeds of Griffonia Simplicifolia.

It is present in minute amounts in some foods such as cheese and turkey.

Acts as a precursor to the synthesis of serotinin.
